Gratitude for Grandmas
Over the past few weeks we were so fortunate as to have two very lovely women stay with us. Grandma Lainhart and Grandma Bev helped with the cooking, cleaning, kids, and everything else that comes along with raising a growing family. To these two women we just can't say thank you enough. I don't know what I would have done without their help. There is no way I could have come through the past few weeks and kept my health and sanity in tact. Thank you for the delicious and nutritious meals, the clean potties, the super-fun kid games, and the moral support.

This smile is for you!

She's Here!
At 2:30 AM Wednesday, November 12th we decided it was time to party and headed off to the hospital. I changed into my super-cute blue and white backless dress (a bit racy I know :)) and prepared for an evening of excitement. By about 5 AM (after several grouling hours of sports center...and contractions) my epideral was in full swing. By 7 AM my water was broken and my doctor was in the elevator. At 7:15 after three good pushes I was holding our sweet little Amilynne. She weighed in at a whoppin' 6 lbs. 4oz. and was 19 inches tall.

Budda Belly Update
Still no baby! Dialated with lots of contractions, but no baby. She must need to bake a little longer. I'm okay with that. I'll let you all know when she decides to grace us with her presence! :) Love you! Thanks for the good vibes!

Tagged Again! 4th picture, 4th folder

I got tagged by Christina so here is the fourth picture in my fourth picture folder. I really love this picture. It was taken from the back porch of Jared's folk's Star Valley home. They have the most beautiful property.
I now tag Heidi, Amanda, Jade, Sarah and Kirsten to share the 4th picture in their 4th folder!

Baby in Waiting
We are expecting this little girl to come any time now. I'm dialated, contracting, and impatient. It's become increasingly difficult to walk, sleep, eat, and breath. BUT I also know that every day my little bun is in the oven she is growing, her lungs are developing, and she has less chance of trouble at birth.
I feel a little overwhelmed with thought of being the mother of four. The responsibility of teaching my children to be kind, clever, honest, and all around exceptional people is tremendous. (...not to mention feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, and driving them to and fro.) I also feel blessed beyond measure to be able to raise these four little spirits in the gospel. How people manage without the guiding hand of a loving Heavenly Father is beyond me. The comfort of knowing the values to instill and having a "handbook" of sorts to do it from is a treasure. I know that I will be pulling my hair out during the day and walking like a zombie up and down the halls at night, but I also know that I don't have to do it alone. I am so so lucky to have at man at my side that loves me (despite my smelly feet and bad hair :)) a herd of sisters, mothers, and friends that have "been there" before, and a heavenly father to talk to when the above-mentioned support group is sleeping. To my team of family and friends I say thank you, I love you...and be ready for my frantic phone calls when I haven't gotten enough sleep and my words are slurred and I either can stop laughing or crying because I'm delerious....you know how I get!
Anyways, my little heart sob rant must come to an end. Please send me your best vibes for a speed delivery and a happy healthy bebe.

Our Little Trick or Treaters
We went "trunk or treating" at the church with our little Livi Duckie, Ballerina Ana, and Elder Lainhart. They had a blast and really cleaned up. We'll be swimming in a sugar-rush for quite a while. In my unbiased opinion (hehe) they were the cutest little kids out there.
Guess who each pumpkin belongs to... :)
The kids had a debate as to what I was for Halloween. Jaguar or Cheetah? ...I think I just look like a turkey. Wrong season perhaps, but ....who the heck said black is slimming? :)
Hoopy Game with Grandma

The "hoopy game" is really just a pillow fight. Don't ask me why they call it that. Grandma Lainhart loves to rough house and this turned into one of my kids favorite games. They sit on opposite ends of the sofa sectional and hurl my sofa pillows at each other...not softly either. Adds a whole new meaning to "throw" pillows, eh? It's noisy, hillarious, and totally against the household rules. I love it! Thanks for being here with us Grandma! We love you!

I've Been Tagged!
Here's the Rules: Link to the person who tagged you. Post the rules on your blog. Write six random/little known things about yourself. Tag six more people.
Kirsten tagged me.
1. I LOVE cookie dough. I will make cookies just to eat the dough. Chocolate chip is THE best...without the chocolate chips, of course...but I also very much enjoy oatmeal, gingersnap, snickerdoodle and sugar dough.
2. I can do lots of tongue tricks. ie...open a Starburst in my mouth, tie cherry stems, roll my tongue like a taco, blow it up like a balloon, and touch my nose with my tongue.
3. I did a study abroad program in London studying art and architecture.
4. The hair on the right side of my head is thicker than on the left side...Mom says it's because I twisted a bald spot on the right side of my head when I was little and it grew back thicker.
5. I hate wearing socks, which has often had my family running for the hills due to the heinous stench after wearing shoes minus the protective knit booties. Is there such a thing as clostrophobic feet?
6. I can sing the songs from just about any musical or disney movie. Pathetic, I know.
I tag: Heinie Ho Ho, Aubrey Stewart, Robyn Braswell, Becca Lainhart, Amanda Cox and Sarah Naramore. Have fun girls!

More Good Times (October 12th)

The ROCK BAND Jeremy screamin' on the electric, Mom on vocals and Jared poundin' it out on the drums...with Miss Jayna working...the crowd?

Just some good ol' sibling rivalry
Happy Birthday Olivia!

Auntie Heidi made the coolest birthday cake for our big two year old. To see more of her fine artistry visit her site at http://www.customcakesbyheidi.com. She's amazing! Anywho...Auntie Heidi is also responsible for our party of princesses. She is determined to be the "favorite aunt" and is not afraid to stoop to bribery!

I can't believe Livi is Two!!! ...the with stature of a 12 month old and the vocabulary of a four year old. She's as spicey as they come. Happy Birthday Big Girl!!

We had so much fun with all the family that came!

Audrey, Heidi, Jeremy, and Keri...We missed you Amie!!!
Smarty Pants

Luke is such a little smarty! He did a placement test to see how far ahead he was in his kindergarten class. He was tested in math, reading, etc... he TOTALLY creamed the test!
He says he doesn't like school though. I think he gets bored. We have a hard time keeping up with this kid. Any ideas would be vastly appreciated! I'm concerned that he with get himself into trouble if he isn't kept busy. Karate?
An Apple a Day
OH MY!!!
Olivia Joy has more personality in her little finger than most kids have in their entire bodies. She keeps us rolling all day with her pert opinions, clumsy movements, and hillarious sound effects. We do so love you, little monkey!
A Day at the Temple
Jared had the day off of work so we decided to take a little trip and a picnic to the Las Vegas temple. There is a little valley to the side of the temple grounds where you are technically on the grounds, but out of sight of passers by. There we enjoyed our picnic lunch, played hide and seek in the trees, and basked in the abnormally warm October weather. Our three little nature lovers had a blast. Olivia found a dried leaf that she refused to detach herself from, Ana had to smell every patch of bloomage she passed, and Luke scratched himself climbing a big tree. We really enjoyed the spirit of peace that you only feel when you are on the temple grounds.
